Speaking at the ceremony held at Ortadağ Secondary School in Sancaktepe, Tekin emphasized the importance of children receiving a quality education from their families before going to kindergarten. Stating that he also has a request from the children, Tekin asked children to ask their parents to read a book together for half an hour upon teachers' request.

 

Asking parents to respond positively to their children's desire to read books, Tekin said that they will contribute to their children's education and be more successful together. Stating that thanks to this support from parents, their children will imagine a better future, Minister Tekin said that the children's work will become easier in the education and training process.

 

Reminding that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan allocated the largest share of the state budget to education, Tekin stated that they invited all professional chambers, chambers of commerce and industry in Türkiye to become stakeholders with the Ministry of National Education.

 

Explaining that school buildings are also their houses, the Minister stressed that academic studies show that the share of schools in education cannot exceed 50 percent. Underlining that parents should spend more time with their children at home and set a better example for them to see their success,  Minister Tekin asked parents to closely follow the education process of children.

 

The completed schools were opened after the speeches.
